GLENSIDE , PA – December 12 - A is for all and E is for everything announces the scrolling marquee on the new website located at www.AllyElizabeth.com.   Dedicated to inspiring young girls between the ages of 8 and 14 to expand their horizons, imagine the possibilities and reach for the stars, this new website is launching for the holidays.

With the significant and growing presence of tweens in the marketplace, there is a need for unique and independent websites that provide meaningful and significant educational information for them and the adults in their lives.   The new website at AllyElizabeth.com is setting out to become a premier site to inspire a generation of young girls to aim high and expand their world.   

The A Pages will be the place where AllyElizabeth.com visitors will find topics to meet life and daily interests.   If it starts with “A” it will be there, beginning with Activities, Athletics, Adventure, Academics, Art and Acting and Apparel – a fancy word for fashion! Music, cooking and more will provide additional content.

“It is our belief,” said Laurie Hawkins, co-creator of AllyElizabeth.com, “that the young girls of today have interests far beyond what many believe, that they are not only interested in clothes and their appearances.   Tweens have a wide range of interests, and their curiosity about the world and what’s out there is beginning to blossom. AllyElizabeth.com will give them tools to exercise this curious nature and see all the possibilities there really are.”

AllyElizabeth.com is for adults, too.   It will be a site where moms and dads can go to get information about issues affecting tweens and their perspectives,  as well as a spot where they can find product information, in one location. 

Busy moms and dads who want to shop online for their tweens will be able to go to AllyElizabeth.com as a starting point.   “Our advisory team will scour the internet for fashion, room décor, books, gifts and activities that are appropriate for young ladies between the ages of 8 and 13.  

"We will pay particular attention to fashion, as so many moms have told us that it is hard to find clothes that are not too young looking and certainly not too mature for their girls,” continued Hawkins.  “We will make it easier for parents to check out some appropriate and fashionable options.”
 
Privacy and internet security will be a major focus for the AllyElizabeth.com team, with adherence to all laws affecting children and the internet.   To address potential problems, AllyElizabeth.com will focus on involving parents and adults in the site.  An email newsletter with information specifically for parents will be offered and will help adults to extend the learning of the information contained in the site.  An advisory group of parents and educators will also be formed to provide direction and oversight.

“We are highly security conscious,” noted Hawkins, “because we want our young visitors to be safe.  We want parents to be aware that their daughters are accessing our site and we want them to know the information they are getting. This newsletter will help parents to achieve this and also to further explore the information that we are providing.”
